Bestby is an initiative focused on saving perfectly consumable and sellable food items from getting to the landfills and preventing them from contributing to CO2E emissions in the UAE. Every item you buy contributes to this mission!
Bestby works in the most agile way possible. We do not have a warehouse, and instead use our partner food supplier's warehouses as our dark store. What that means is, we will be giving you updates on the availability of the item in stock while it remains in a food supplier's inventory until the order is placed and is ready to dispatch.
As the items get closer to their sell-by dates, they lose value due to the widespread misconception and low demand for them. Bestby recognizes this, and adds value to them by highlighting them and making sure they’re not left behind.
Just like all good things, we start off small. We currently only sell dried goods and will move our way up to fruits and vegetables. We offer a wide range of grocery food items. This includes fruits & vegetables, dairy & eggs, bakery, soft drinks & juices, snacks, meat & fish, cans & jars, pasta and rice, coffee and tea, herbs, and healthy and organic products. We do our best to cover the widest range possible and with time, we will be constantly updating the website with new products. We suggest you use our search bar to make sure you find what you need. If you have specific requests send them over to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll do our best to source them!
Food waste happens at alarming rates daily, so we update our inventory biweekly at least.
Depending on your location and how many people are contributing to fighting food waste with Bestby, the delivery time may vary from same day to next day delivery. You will get a notification on time of delivery once the products have been dispatched.
You can choose from the following payment methods:
- Cash on delivery
- Online payment via the website
We run a system that updates stock in real time. In the unfortunate event that something slips off and an item you purchased is no longer available, you will not be charged for it.
After you place an order on Bestby, it can not be modified to avoid order errors. Please contact us at email@example.com instead and we will try our best to amend it with you!
Yes, you can cancel an order within 10 minutes of placing your order.
